After six months of intense preparation, Savenaca Naliva is prepared to face off against Sebastian Singh in the main event of the Bluewater Boxing Promotion in Suva.

With the World Boxing Foundation Asia-Pacific Cruiserweight title on the line, Naliva is focused on emerging victorious.

“Singh poses a tough challenge, but I have put in the work, and I am confident in my abilities,” said Naliva.

“This fight will indeed be a test of skill and willpower, and I plan to let my performance in the ring do the talking for me, I am ready for this challenge and eager to showcase my hard-earned skills.”

In contrast, Singh is approaching the bout with a sense of urgency and the recognition that a win is crucial for his future in boxing.

“Winning is my only aim going into this fight, while I can’t predict the outcome, I know that winning is non-negotiable for me at this point,” said Singh.

“The stakes are high, and a victory is essential for my future in boxing, if I fall short, I will retire from boxing on a good note.

“Just looking at things now, there comes a point where my family and kids are more important to me than the sport.

“As a boxer in Fiji, the road ahead is uncertain, making this fight a crucial moment of truth for me, I am determined to prove my worth and demonstrate that I have what it takes to compete at this level.

“I urge all fans to tune in and witness what promises to be an intense and thrilling fight.”

The boxing program will be held at the Vodafone Arena in Laucala, Suva today.
