Football fans and enthusiasts can expect exciting round of football matches today when the semi finals of the Digicel Fiji FACT tournament kicks off at 10am at Subrail Park in Labasa.
Fiji Football Association chief executive officer Mohammed Yusuf said they were looking forward to the semis, as all four teams in the premier division had been undefeated in their respective pools.
“It will certainly be an exciting day tomorrow because all teams will be out looking for a must win, if they hope to book a spot in the finals,” Yusuf said.
Hosts Labasa will be looking to defend their home turf when they face defending champions at 2pm for the first semi final, while Navua faces Ba at 4.30pm in the second semi-final.
“Adding to the excitement will be Labasa looking to defend their home turf, while Lautoka will also be out to defend their title and win the tournament for the second year.”
