The national airline has been featured in a leading publication titled SOAR: Fiji Airways Special Edition and was launched at the Fiji Airways Aviation academy in Nadi on Thursday.

The book is authored by Shashank Nigam, founder of SimpliFlying, one of the world’s largest aviation marketing, branding and communication consultancy firms.

Fiji Airways managing director and CEO Andre Viljoen said this book aims to highlight exceptional airline brands which are thinking differently about branding and executing brilliantly.

“Three editions of SOAR have been published across the world, including two special editions for SAUDIA and WestJet, with Fiji Airways being the third special edition,” he said.

Mr Viljoen said they have gathered not only to unveil a book but to commemorate the resilience of the national airline in the face of unprecedented challenges, especially during the COVID-19.

“To see the Fiji Airways being featured alongside the world’s largest airlines in ‘SOAR’ is a testament to our commitment to excellence and innovation.

SOAR has been described as the definitive book on airline marketing & branding with more than 20,000 copies in circulation.

The book was launched by Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Professor Biman Prasad.
