Playing the full 80 minutes will be vital for the Fiji under-20 when it faces Moana Pasifika in its second Oceania Rugby U20s Challenge match.
Fiji opened its campaign with 39-25 win over Tonga and will battle Moana Pasifika next.
Coach Apisai Sailada said their performance against Tonga wasn’t the full package and they need to pull their socks up against their next opponent.
“We played well in the first half but then we lost concentration in the second half which led to Tonga scoring three tries,” he said.
“We need to play the full 80 minutes; we know that Moana have big physical forwards and we need to shift the ball from them.
“The positives were our lineouts and scrums, most of the players have been with us from the schoolboys under-18 so they’ve been through the system, they’ve been exposed to this environment before and they know what to expect in the tournament.”
Fiji faces Moana Pasifika today at 2pm in Auckland, New Zealand.
