Former attorney-general Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum is back in Fiji.
On Christmas Day, pictures of Mr Sayed-Khaiyum’s arrival made rounds on social media.
A party representative also confirmed that he had returned to the country.
Mr Sayed-Khaiyum was granted bail on May 2, however, a stop departure order was issued as a condition of bail, which limited his ability to travel outside the country.
On September 13, the court allowed the former FijiFirst general secretary to travel to Singapore for a medical review. T
he case will be called again on January 16.
Mr Sayed-Khaiyum is charged with one count of abuse of office.
