Expanding the offerings of its recently launched DTV App, Digicel Fiji has partnered with local TV broadcaster Mai TV.

Mai TV is set to become the first free-to-air partner for the App, reinforcing Digicel’s commitment to offering an extensive and diverse range of content to the Fijian public.

Digicel Fiji CEO Farid Mohammed said, “This partnership demonstrates our promise to provide our customers with the best digital experience.”

“Mai TV’s addition to the platform opens up new opportunities for all parties involved, especially the people of Fiji. We believe this partnership will redefine the way Fijians access and enjoy their favourite content, making the DTV app the ultimate destination for entertainment.”

Mai TV CEO Raijieli Vulaono said, “As a small dynamic station in a competitive and fast-changing world, we have always explored and pursued new technologies and platforms to create and deliver new content to a wider audience cost effectively, and this partnership with Digicel Fiji delivers all that.”

“Being on DTV provides a great synergy between traditional and digital media providing users with a greater range of options to experience and view our content,” Vulaono added.

The DTV service can be accessed via the DTV App on the Play Store for Android users, or the Digicel TV App from the App Store for iPhone users.
