Bail has been extended for former Fiji Airways chief customer services officer Shaenaz Voss by the Nausori Magistrates Court yesterday.

Ms Voss appeared before Magistrate Jeremiah Savou on a charge of failure to comply with the requirements of the operators airline program, contrary to Section 37 of the Civil Aviation (Security) Regulations 1994.

It is alleged that on October 8, 2018 at Nausori Airport in the Central Division, she failed to comply with the requirements of the Fiji Link Operation Airline Security Program on board domestic flight FJ 32.

Prosecutor Luisa Latu had told the court to consider more time for the state to file disclosures and information, adding that she had just received documents from the police.

She had asked the court if they could be given 21 days or a month to prepare the documents for the pre-trial conference.

Defence lawyer Gul Fatima had also asked the court for a longer mention date to be considered.

She said Ms Voss was doing consultancy work after leaving Fiji Airways and written applications needed to be made.

The matter would be called on December 12 for mention.
