Grace Road’s president Daniel Kim, charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm was produced in the Magistrate’s Court in Navua on Friday.
The allegation is in relation to an incident that took place in 2018.
Mr Kim and two others are alleged to have assaulted Nainoca Kaukibeqa at his farm in Navua.
Mr Kim was interviewed on October 3 and on Friday he was produced before magistrate Yogesh Prasad.
The magistrate has set a date of November 3 for re-appearance in court by Mr Kim.
Mr Kim was taken back into the custody of the Fiji Immigration Department after the court appearance in Navua.
“We have been served first disclosures which is the caution interview,” said Wasu Pillay of Gordon and Company who is representing Mr Kim.
Police spokesman, Wame Boutolu confirmed that charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm were laid on Mr Kim and that he was produced at the Navua Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
