Koro High School surprised many to qualify to the quarter-finals of the 2023 Punjas Digicel Fiji Secondary Schools Netball Championship in the Open Girls division.
One of the farthest travelling teams at the championship, Koro High will take on St Thomas High School today.
In other quarter-finals in the Open Girls division, Labasa Sangam College takes on Yat Sen Secondary School, Uluivalili College battles Ballentine Memorial School, while William Cross College takes on Immaculate Conception College.
In the boys quarter-finals, International Secondary School plays Yat Sen Secondary, Suva Grammar School battles Ratu Latianara College, Navatu Secondary School takes on St Vincent’s College while St Thomas High School will be up against Kalabu Secondary School.
In the under-14 girls division, Adi Cakobau School will be up against St Joseph’s Secondary School, Suva Grammar School takes on Nadi Muslim College, Jasper Williams High School will battle Swami Vivekananda College while Dudley High School takes on Niusawa Methodist High School in the last quarter-final.
The quarter-finals will take place at the Vodafone Arena and the National Netball Centre in Laucala, Suva today.
The three-day competition comes to an end today.
