A major retail leader in the country — Jack’s of Fiji — has partnered with the renowned Bata brand with the aim to reshape the footwear scene in the country.

With a collective investment of more than $1 million Jack’s of Fiji has created new employment opportunities. According to the company the launch of this partnership has created 12 new positions at their Jack’s outlet in Suva .

Jack’s of Fiji launched this new partnership at their Pier St outlet on Friday with customers getting the opportunity to see first-hand what Bata had in offer for them.

In a statement, the company said this move would enable them to reshape Fiji’s footwear scene and at the same time help the local economy grow and tie into Jack’s promise to offer opportunities in the community.

“The partnership between Jack’s of Fiji and Bata means a significant investment that puts the Bata brand in the spotlight in Fiji. This commitment covers various aspects, including store displays, visuals, branding, and a substantial investment in keeping a wide range of Bata brands in stock. Altogether, these efforts show Jack’s dedication to providing quality,” said the statement.

It said this substantial investment underscored their belief in the potential of the Bata brand in the Fijian market and the company’s dedication to providing top-tier products and services to its customers.

According to the company what sets Bata apart in Fiji’s competitive footwear world is its impressive blend of global trends and local preferences.

“Bata excels in providing quality footwear with advanced technology, giving comfort and long-lasting wear.

And here’s the bonus – their prices are more affordable compared to premium brands in the market,” shared the company in its statement.

Jack’s of Fiji has plans to open new Bata stores in Lautoka, Nadi, and the Central region, along with other store-in-store setups by 2024.

Bata, known for quality and innovation, has a huge global presence.

With 5800 stores across 70 countries and four continents, it’s the go-to for family footwear.

Jack’s of Fiji stores are located in all major towns and cities, Denarau Island as well as major resorts in Nadi and the Coral Coast region.
