Minister for Youth and Sports Jese Saukuru paid a visit to Tokyo Olympics gold medallist Napolioni Bolaca at his residence in Saweni in Lautoka on Saturday.

Bolaca, who returned from an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) surgery in New Zealand, was grateful to the minister and his staff for taking time-off from their busy schedule to visit him and his family.

“I’d like to thank the Minister for Youth and Sports and his staff members for coming over to visit me,” Bolaca said.

“It is a great surprise to have them here taking time-off from their busy schedule to pay me and my family a visit.”

The Ministry of Youth and Sports has vowed to continue its support for sports development programs and the welfare of every sportsman and sportswoman in Fiji.
