Losalini Ranadi says her God-given skills have allowed her to earn a living over more than 20 years.
A member of the Namomoto Women’s Club, Mrs Ranadi was the lone Nadi representative handpicked to showcase her creations at the Western Division Women’s Expo Fashion Show in Lautoka. “I have always loved to sew clothes at home,” she said.
“When I saw that I could start a business, I started small and began sewing clothes around my community.
“Now I have been invited to a few fashion shows and to the women’s expo.
“I did not expect my business to reach this far but I am grateful to God for always giving me the wisdom and knowledge to come up with the designs for my clothes.”
Mrs Ranadi said being part of this year’s expo had been a blessing.
“I am with other creative women whom I am learning from.
“It is a very good place for us to do business and also show what we have created.
“I thank God that I am able to be part of this very great opportunity.”
