CERTAIN staff members of Vodafone Fiji will be easy to spot today, as they will be donning neckties to highlight Movember – one of the ways they have decided to draw attention to the cause.
And this will also include a number of women in the office, who have decided this Friday deserves to be a little more special.
“We have ladies taking part in the event and we’ve come up with wearing a tie. It is something extra on our Friday’s casual attire to show support towards the movement,” explained Vodafone Fiji’s territory executive Adriu Vakarau.
“The reason is so that when staff members wear the tie, people might ask why a tie and we get to explain our support to the movement, therefore more awareness.”
Mr Vakarau said so far, support from within the office was encouraging.
“We are having great response towards the initiative – more of our staff have joined in.”
