ABOUT 30 students will graduate from the Fiji College of Theology and Evangelism with qualifications ranging from certificate to masters level tomorrow.
College information officer Sarita Narayan said the graduation ceremony fell in line with their 40th anniversary.
“Since its establishment in 1974, the inter denominational college has served students from all over the South Pacific,” she said.
And 40 years on, the school is recognised as one of the top theological institutions in the country, especially after being registered with the Fiji Higher Learning Commission.
“We currently have 139 students who have come from Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Vanuatu among other countries.”
Nurturing a strong faith in God, Ms Narayan said the tertiary institution continued to blossom over the years, attracting students from all denominations.
“All expenses for scholarship students are borne by the school, including tuition and accommodation for our overseas students.”
The 40th anniversary celebrations end later this week.
