Lelean Memorial School hopes to bring back the boys Triple N Zone title this year.

The Davuilevu-based school shockingly lost to Nakasi High School last year.

Senior athletics coach Viliame Kotoilakeba said plans were in place to reorganise themselves after their inter-house to get the athletes in to training mode.

“With the Triple N zone around the corner, we are working against time to get the athletes ready physically, mentally and spiritually,” he said.

“As we know for the past years we have been the champions and last year, Nakasi came out strong.

“This year we will have to reorganise ourselves as we want to return to our status as the champion of the Triple N Zone.”

Kotoilakeba said they encouraged athletes to train hard.

“We also have a special trainer coming in to assist us and that we are grateful for.

“We are also working with our female athletes to have a go at top schools such as Adi Cakobau School.”

The winners of their inter-house competition yesterday will be announced during their school 80th celebration in Nausori today.
