A REGIONAL commercial bank launched its new subsidiary company in Suva yesterday.
Bank of South Pacific (BSP) opened its new asset finance company that will offer the people of Fiji a new and better alternative for their assets finance needs.
During the launch of BSP Finance (Fiji) Ltd in Samabula yesterday, BSP Group CEO Robin Fleming confirmed that BSP Finance’s flexible policies would provide a finance alternative to those who did not meet the traditional guidelines for commercial banks or those who needed fast turnaround times to meet their needs.
“BSP Finance is a step in the right direction for the group. This strategic move will allow a far broader spectrum of clients to enjoy the services from the BSP Group.
“Our investment in this business is a clear indication of our confidence in the future of Fiji and the bright economic prospects that lay ahead.
“With the launch, BSP is reinforcing its strength as a major player in the banking and finance industry and the expansion into other South Pacific island countries is on the horizon.”
BSP Group chairman Kosta Constantinou said they had 18 branches in Fiji and this was the difference between the group and other identities.
