The Fiji Secondary Schools Rugby League will prepare for the National Finals as competitions from the South-Eastern and Western zone were completed on Saturday.
The Western zone culminated its competitions at the Xavier College grounds where Ba Pro Dragons were crowned the under-19 Western champion after edging out Ra High Rooster 12-11 in the final.
In the 3rd place playoff match in the U19 grade, Ba Methodist Saints beat Ratu Navula Eagles 10-8.
In the under-17 grade, Ba Pro Dragons beat the AD Patel Storm 12-4 and Tavua District Rabbitohs finished the competition at third place beating Ratu Navula Eagles 20-12.
In the under-15 grade, Xavier College Sea Eagles spoilt the party for the Ba Pro Dragons team who were hoping to make a clean sweep in the finals after defeating them 12-4, while Ra High Roosters beat Ba Methodist Saints 18-16 to claim third place.
The national quarter-finals is likely to be played at Garvey Park in Tavua on June 18 with the time of the matches yet to be confirmed.
