Price of eight assorted beer and spirit products will increase from Monday, Paradise Beverages has confirmed.
Fiji Bitter 750ml will increase by 11 cents, Fiji Gold 750ml will go up by eight cents, 375ml Bounty OP Rum will cost $2.06 more, Bounty OP Rum 750ml will increase by $2.98, Bounty OP Rum 1125ml will increase by $4.13, Deluxe Regal Whisky 375ml will go up by 92 cents, Deluxe Regal Whisky 750ml will cost $1.83 more and Deluxe Regal Whisky 1125ml increases by $3.67.
“Because of the increased costs on things such as raw materials, logistics and fuel we’ve had to update our pricing to ensure the sustainability of our business,” Paradise Beverages general manager Mike Spencer said.
“The price increase only applies to a limited number of products and is minimal.”
He said it had been a challenging few years given the impact of COVID-19 both in Fiji and at a global level, “Our focus has been on looking after our people and our customers.
“To support our valued customers, we asses our wholesale pricing carefully and only increase pricing when absolutely necessary.”
