Fiji’s national curfew from midnight to 4am will remain, says Health Ministry permanent secretary Dr James Fong.
He made the comment in response to a question from this newspaper on whether curfew hours would be extended because of the high vaccination level.
“I do not intend to change it unless someone argues more convincingly for a change,” he said.
“We are still at risk of outbreak and I need curfew hours to be able to implement drastic steps if I have to.”
