Fijian President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere has extended his appreciation to the European Union (EU) for being Fiji’s development partner throughout the years and its commitment within the Pacific.
Ratu Wiliame received a courtesy call from the European Union (EU) Ambassador to Fiji and the Pacific, Sujiro Seam yesterday.
In reaffirming Fiji’s partnership with the EU, Ratu Wiliame said he looks forward to more development opportunities unfolding in the future between Fiji and Europe through the great partnership and bilateral relations that are now stronger than ever before.
Mr Seam, while echoing similar sentiments, reaffirmed that the ties between Fiji and the EU as partners in the Pacific and on facing global challenges together.
