One of Fiji’s first private sector owned full service virtual and in-person coworking community Greenhouse Coworking was officially opened at Des Voeux Rd, Suva yesterday.

The Greenhouse Studio founder and director Maria Ronna Luna Pastorizo-Sekiguchi said they were a socially conscious business that adhered to the principles of the triple bottom line – people, planet and profit.

“The Greenhouse Studio is a place where our mantra consists of inspiring change in communities and people,” she said.

She said with that same conviction they partnered with Australian funded Market Development Facility (MDF) to launch Greenhouse Coworking (GCo).

Ms Pastorizo-Sekiguchi said it was made possible with a combined $250,000 investment and the hard work of her team from Greenhouse with support from clients, partners, family and friends.

“We believe that through the support we are offering MSMEs, start-ups, and consultants in the current economic climate and moving forward, we are strengthening the core of business development in Fiji.

“Greenhouse Coworking not only offers support, connection, and opportunities for MSMEs, startups, and consultants through our virtual coworking community, we also offer them affordable membership plans for move-in ready flexible, and shared workspaces.

“Our amenities include a fully air-conditioned, child-friendly, and wheelchair-accessible shared coworking space with on-site security, CCTV surveillance, and daily cleaning services following COVID-safety guidelines,” Ms Pastorizo-Sekiguchi said.
