Labasa ready to face Ba

THE Babasiga Lions are ready to face the Men in Black says team coach Bal Sanju Reddy.

Reddy said his side’s preparation for the match had been proceeding well over the week and that they would give Ba a good match today at Subrail Park.

He added the fitness level in their camp was high since they had not been played any matches for the past two weeks.

“Even though we have a complete change of players on our side we are still confident that we can win this match against Ba,” he said.

“The boys are ready to give Ba a challenge during the 90-minute match and they are well prepared for it.

“Seven of the new players will be playing today while three will be playing their debut matches for the team.”

Reddy said the players who would be playing their debut included Netani Doli, Jesoni Takala and Kelepi Qaqa.

“The hopes of the side rests on goalkeeper Epeli Loaniceva and striker Ashneel Raju.

“Krishneel Krishna will be out of this week’s match because of disciplinary reasons.

“However the team is in high spirits and ready for today’s match at the same time we are appealing to Labasa fans to come and support their team at Subrail Park today.”
