St Anne’s Primary School prefects were badged today in an induction ceremony held at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Suva this morning.

Tatiyana Mow and Emmalyne Whippy, both Year 8 students, were appointed as the head girl and deputy head girl of their school.

Both girls hoped they had made their parents proud and they aspire to do their level best in their last year of primary school while they look forward to joining St Joseph Secondary School next year.

Father Dan Sinclair encouraged the newly-inducted leaders to lead with compassion, a kind heart and to always stand up for the truth.

More reports in tomorrow’s edition of The Fiji Times.
