Luke Seru braved the rain today to go fishing at Jalim Avenue in Nausori.
Following the closure of schools around the country, the year seven student of Rambissesar Chaudhary Memorial Primary School spent the day fishing with his aunts Losana Matanikalivuka, Salanieta Vuwai and cousin, Seci Tamanivalu.
He said the rainy weather was an opportune time to fish.
“When it rains the fish become very active,” Luke said.
“It’s like they become hungry and will go for anything.”
He said the spot on Jalim Avenue was a good fishing spot for rainy days and they often came away with a good catch.
