All Fiji Airways jet aircraft will remain in their destination for repatriation flights until weather conditions improve in Fiji.

This was confirmed by the airline in a statement today confirming scheduled repatriation and freight flights to Sydney, Auckland, Los Angeles and Hong Kong.

“These aircrafts will remain at those ports until weather conditions in Fiji allow for their safe return. All Fiji Link aircraft (ATR 72s, ATR 42 and Twin Otters) will be secured inside the airline’s Hangar facilities in Nadi,” the national airline stated.

“Customers on impacted flights will be rebooked onto the next available flight.

“In many cases, supplementary flights or the next available flights can only be confirmed once weather conditions and forecasts improve.

“Customers will be notified of the changes to their flight through e-mail or phone call.”
