Former Ba, Lautoka and Fiji Under-23 coach Imdad Ali has joined the Ba football team coaching panel as the team prepares for the Vodafone Fiji FACT.
Ba football has confirmed Ali as the team’s new Technical Director.
Ali coached Ba in 2016 and 2017.
Ronil Lal remains as the Ba coach.
Ba takes on Nasinu in the opening Group A encounter at 1.30pm this Saturday at Lautoka’s Churchill Park.
In another match at the venue, Nadi plays Lautoka at 1.30pm on the same day.
Two matches will be played at Suva’s ANZ Stadium on Sunday.
Suva battles Navua at 1pm after which Labasa takes on Rewa at 3pm.
The tournament proper kicks off at Labasa’s Subrail Park next Wednesday.
