A weak trough of low pressure remains slow moving over the country.
The weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi this morning says the low pressure is expected to weaken further and move away from the country by tomorrow.
The forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group expect cloudy periods with few showers over the northern, eastern and the interior parts of the larger islands.
Isolated thunderstorms likely with fine weather elsewhere apart from afternoon and evening showers and isolated thunderstorms.
Isolated heavy falls possible in the afternoon and evening.
Moderate northeasterly winds, fresh at times and moderate to rough seas.
Outlook for Sunday expect cloudy periods with few showers over the eastern parts and interior of the larger islands.
Elsewhere, fine apart from isolated afternoon or evening showers and thunderstorms.
