The decision by the Nadi Magistrates Court to acquit two people on charges of breach of curfew is “flawed”, says Attorney-General Aiyaz Stayed-Khaiyum.

The Nadi Magistrates Court acquitted Ravin Lal and Shalvin Chand yesterday on the grounds that the charge was defective.

Mr Sayed-Khaiyum said it was very unfortunate the Nadi Magistrates Court made this ruling.

He said the ruling would be appealed by Prosecution.
