THE Archbishop of York John Sentamu and his wife the Rev Margaret Sentamu are visiting the Anglican Church in Fiji this week.

The duo said the purpose of their trip was to try and reconnect with individuals they met during a visit in 2015.

Yesterday they spent time at St Christopher’s Home in Nakasi — an orphanage.

St Christopher’s Home sister-in-charge Kalolaine Tuineau said the children were fortunate to be visited by the Archbishop and Mrs Sentamu.

She said she outlined plans the orphanage had for a boys care centre. She said the groundwork for the boys’ home would commence soon.

Archbishop Sentamu and Mrs Sentamu will depart Fiji for Samoa on Thursday and will later travel to New Zealand.
