FAMILY and friends gathered at Adi Cakobau School (ACS) today to witness the achievements of the 132-newly elected prefects for the school for this year.
The prefects induction ceremony was commemorated with a combined service of the first visiting Sunday.
Speaking at the event, ACS acting principal Bharti Singh told the prefects that their induction into leadership responsibilities marked a major milestone both in their learning journey at ACS as well as in their personal development.
“The school has seen great potential in you that you will be able to carry forward and fly the flag of ACS high,” Ms Singh said.
This year’s head girl is 18-year-old Hera Beverly Vai who is originally from Papua New Guinea.
