A BOXER who allegedly assaulted his pregnant wife has been remanded into custody.
Sebastian Singh who is charged with one count of assault causing actual bodily harm appeared before Magistrate Joseph Daurewa at the Suva Magistrates Court today.
Magistrate Daurewa has ordered the defence counsel counsel, Avinesh Reddy to file written submissions for his client’s bail within the next seven days.
The prosecution will be given the next seven days to respond to the submission.
Mr Singh will reappear in court on January 13.
