St Joseph the Worker children mark Early Childhood Education week

MORE than 60 students of St Joseph the Worker Kindergarten today marked the opening of Early Childhood Education week, which is celebrated around the country.

School manager Father Jeffery Werner reminded the students to always learn to listen to their parents and teachers because it would help them as they grow older.

“You must learn to listen to your parents for they are your God on earth,” Fr Werner said.

The students took part in a character parade followed by a Fijian meke to mark the opening of the week-long celebration, which concludes on Friday.

Parents and guardians gathered at the school in Nakasi to assist their children participate in the activities of the day.
