TOUCH Rugby Fiji is fielding a total of six teams to the 2019 Touch Rugby World Cup in Malaysia this month.

With only two weeks left, Association president Josua Satavu said the team had been preparing since last year and was ready to reach another level.

“Most of the players we have are the ones that played in the last World Cup so we are taking a mature team with a few development players who are getting a good exposure before the Pacific Games,” said Satavu.

Fiji is presently ranked 9th in the Men’s open and 22nd in the Women’s open.

The 2019 Touch Rugby World Cup will be held from April 29 to May 4 in Malaysia.
