RYOSUKE Oba, a former Palau Baseball team coach is in the country holding clinics for young national baseball players at Albert Park in Suva.
Oba said Fijian baseball players have the ability to play the sport better than most developed countries
“We have a lot of talented players here as compared to Palau which is where I used to coach. I would say Fiji Baseball is improving.
“Give it a few more years and we will be on the world stage, it is not something that can happen overnight but with proper training and the right attitude, Fiji can go a long way,” said Oba.
