HEXAGON Group of Hotels recognised its staff members for their achievements as part of its employee recognition scheme.
A statement from the group yesterday said the Employee of the Month awards were done for all the three hotels in the group i.e. the Hexagon International Hotel, Villas and Spa, The Suva Motor Inn and the Grand Wests Villas. It said Employee of the Month award at each of the hotels recognised this achievement by hosting a monthly staff function whereby monthly winners are announced and presented with their certificates and cash prize.
According to the company, this year’s award is shared among two winners — Mereoni Waqanivere from Hexagon International Hotel, Villas and Spa and Vikash Nand of the Suva Motor Inn.
Meanwhile Mr Nand started work in 2000 for the group in one of its subsidiary companies the Mardean Apartments before he moved to the Suva Motor Inn.
All the employee of the month winners from the three hotels are assessed for the employee of the group award which is selected by the group chairperson Hafiz Khan.
