Update: 3:17PM OTAGO, NZ: A MAN is missing in Lake Wanaka waters just off Stevensons Island.
Police were advised just after midday today that a man was in trouble.
New Zealand Police said local vessels plus Coastguard had commenced a search, and a helicopter with paramedics on board was also assisting.
Police are coordinating the search, which also involved Land Search and Rescue volunteers.
The search for the man is ongoing.
