A 58-year-old Tomuka resident was allegedly assaulted by a group of drunken men on Tuesday night.
Sau Raratui Saulekaleka said he was returning home from a meeting about 8pm when he was allegedly attacked.
“They were all drunk and were very loud,” he said.
“Some of them were disturbing our neighbours and I tried to ask them to keep their volume down.”
