Who do you consider as your early role model? How and why does this person impact your life?
My mum, she raised four children because my dad was usually out on the boat. She also worked a part-time job and studied all at once and she achieved all her goals. No matter what circumstances you’re in, if you put in the work and effort you can get it done.
How did you decide to pursue the career that you are working in today?
I was actually given the opportunity to try it out by a very experienced person in this field. He saw the potential in me that I didn’t know I had and ta da I am here and going on three years and it’s been amazing.
If you had the chance to change one thing, what would it be?
I would actually change my decision to stay in school and finish off my degree. So stay in school guys and don’t think of taking a gap year because it’ll turn into “years”.
What inspires you? Who inspires you?
My parents inspire me to be the best and work hard because I want to make them proud because they have sacrificed and continue to sacrifice a lot for me.
What hobby would you get into if time and money weren’t an issue?
Scuba diving with my dad.
How often do you play sports?
This is a trick question, aye? Hahaha is walking to a fridge a sport? Jokes. I try and get involved with netball and do a bit of boxing with my brothers when I’m not working.
What fictional place would you most like to go?
Narnia but I don’t have a wardrobe, lol.
What job would you be terrible at?
Taxidriver because I’ve lived in Suva for over 20 years and I still can’t get the street names right.
When was the last time you climbed a tree?
I actually climbed a mango tree two weeks ago looking for mangoes but there weren’t any cause it’s not mango season obviously.
If you could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance at winning medal for?
Excessive talking.
What is the most annoying habit that other people have?
Spitting, it’s such a put off.
What shows are you into?
Teenwolf, Suits, Queen of the south, Vikings, Originals and the list goes on
What TV channel doesn’t exist but really should?
A channel that is actually up to date with the TV series.
What would be your ideal way to spend the weekend?
Weekend with my family and friends with good food by the beach.
What’s the best single day on the calendar?
Sunday, because I get to sleep all day.
What are you interested in that most people haven’t heard of?
Shark diving, I actually love diving and thanks to my father I got to experience diving at the young age of 13. It’s a whole different world down there. So beautiful!
How do you relax after a hard day of work?
I usually chill in my room, either on my phone or watching a TV series.
What are you most looking forward to in the next 10 years?
See where I actually end up.
Where is the most interesting place you’ve been?
Dreamworld, I love the rides and the water slides.
As the only human left on Earth, what would you do?
I’d probably die of boredom or go mad because I’d have no one to talk to. OK seriously, I’d probably check out all the food and clothes outlets before I die of boredom.
What do you want your epitaph to be?
Well this is a tricky one because other people usually come up with stuff like this… “I’ll be back”.
