PEOPLE on Viti Levu experienced a weather phenomenon rarely seen in Fiji with citizens baffled by their first experience of a hailstorm.
Sekaia Suluka, 51, of Rakiraki, said most were taken by surprise.
“It was like someone throwing stones on our roofs and we didn’t know what to make of it,” he said.
