MALAMALA Beach Club — Fiji’s first island beach club experience — is preparing to welcome guests from Monday August 14, says South Sea Cruises CEO Brad Rutherford.
“Malamala Beach Club is an exceptional new addition to our portfolio and we’re sure that it will quickly become a favourite day or multi day experience for travellers in Fiji,” he said in a statement issued this week.
“For guests staying in resorts at Denarau and the Coral Coast it offers the chance to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of one of Fiji’s Mamanuca Islands even if they’re not actually staying there.”
Malamala Beach Club is a 25-minute boat trip from Port Denarau and offers guests the opportunity to spend a day or a few days on the island.
The club features white sandy beaches, beachside cabanas with butler service, a resort style infinity edge pool, and views across the stunning Mamanuca Group of Islands.
In terms of food and beverage, the club offers a delicious a-la-carte menu from light bites, Pacific inspired meals and shared platters.
Some of the menu feature dishes include starters such as blackened fish taco or coconut sliders, followed by a seared fish kokoda koko bowl and for those with a sweet tooth, the club offers hand crafted golden orb for dessert.
And to ensure guests get a wholesome island experience, a San Francisco based mixologist has prepared a curated cocktail collection with exotic names such as the Momi Cannon, Beach Club Tea and Smoking Barrel.
With exceptional snorkelling in the surrounding reef off Malamala plus complimentary non-motorised water sports there is plenty to do on Fiji and the world’s first beach club.
Guests can opt to relax in one of the beachside cabanas dotted around the island, and soak up the sunshine with amazing South Pacific views.
Malamala Beach Club also offers a unique Beach Club membership which allows guests to experience up to seven days on the island including first return vessel transfers.
