This is the message from Saneil Sangeet Chand a young, former Fijian resident who is making waves in Australia.
Saneil migrated to Australia with his family as a young boy where he completed his secondary and tertiary education and also earned his Masters of Pharmacy from Griffith University.
The former Gospel Primary School and Lautoka Primary School student adopted the hard work trait from his father, a medical lab scientist in Australia.
Last year, Saneil won the Lord Mayor of Brisbane Graham Quirk’s Young Businessman of the Year award and he described this as one of the most humbling moments in his career.
He is also a recipient of the Griffith University’s outstanding alumni award for gaining remarkable achievement in Australia and internationally. This was the result of working every day for two years.
He added this was also a result as well of strategic financial planning which grew his business exponently to buy four more pharmacies and several properties.
Describing technology as game changing in this modern world, Saneil said the use of digital technology and robotic dispensing system had improved efficiency and it was wonderful to experience digital technology which may have many benefits.
The young pharmacist said digital technology was the future in business and in health care.
Graduating with a Masters of Pharmacy Degree and buying his first pharmacy at the age of 25, this go-getter is also engaged in community works.
Saneil is also a justice of the peace and is also involved in several community, charity and soccer activities.
He said he had an affinity for his motherland Fiji and paid homage to all the girmitiya for their sacrifice.
He added he had a moral obligation to Australia and would always be loyal and contribute to its economy.
He has also won Pharmacist of the Year awards for the Tomeo/Laslett & Terry White Pharmacy group.
