Kula WILD Adventure Park in Korotogo, opposite Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort, is Fiji’s newest and biggest family fun park. Well known for its displays of native Fiji fauna, the park now has major activities for all members of the family.
For example, Kula’s Krazy Canopy Flier is a thrilling zip down a roller-coaster rail that descends from the forest canopy, flies around tree and twists and turns until it reaches the river bed as you swoop in to a soft landing at the valley floor.
This is no ordinary zip line! The patented system can actually turn a full 360 degrees, giving you a ‘G’ force enhanced thrill as you fly through the tree tops. There’s also Splash Mountain Jungle Slide. Imagine — you climb up to your take-off position then, after a deep breath, you’re suddenly rushing downhill propelled by a river of water flowing at 25 litres a second!
At over 100 metres long and almost 15 meters high, this slide is a thrilling, high speed, wet and wild plunge through the forest. Powered by huge pumps delivering 70,000 litres of water per hour to the top of the slide, it’s like having your own personal waterfall to ride.
You’re guaranteed to be wearing a huge smile when you land and we’re willing to bet that one ride just isn’t enough! Even the little kids get to enjoy themselves.
The Kiddies’ Splash Pool is a fun packed ‘splashing’ attraction with multiple slides, heaps of sprays and a sneaky Dump Bucket that drenches everyone when they least expect it.
It’s a fun place for kids to work off their energy while you get the chance to relax at the Splash Cafe poolside deck in full view of the action. If you are around the Turtle Reef Pool at feeding time, you’ll can help the Park Rangers hand feed juvenile Hawksbill Turtles.
The Turtles are on loan from Treasure Island Resort and, once they grow to release size, they will be transported back to their original homes to live on the reef in this protected sea park area. Kula has been raising and releasing turtles for over 15 years and divers still report spotting some of the released individuals happily living on the same reef site.
