Update: 12:12PM THE Fiji National Sports Commission has provided a funding of $60,000 for the 2016 Oceania Volleyball Championship.
FNSC chairman Peter Mazey presented a cheque to the championship’s organising committee chairman Nemani Vuniwaqa during a media conference today at the Fiji Volleyball Federation office in Laucala Bay.
Six Oceania nations – Fiji, Samoa, Kiribati, Tuvalu, Solomon Islands and New Caledonia will feature in the championship to be played at the Vodafone Arena in Laucala Bay, Suva.
The 2016 OVC will be held from May 2-7.
