There are also apples in this recipe which are great for fibre; lemons that have cleansing properties and cinnamon which helps to curb your appetite.

350ml of fresh water

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

Half a medium apple, sliced

1 tablespoon honey

Put everything except the apples into your blender and blend for about 10 seconds. Then just add your sliced apples and drink.

Cucumber lemon detox water

8 cups of water

1 medium cucumber (wedged or sliced)

1 whole lemon (wedged or sliced)

10 mint leaves

Mix in a large jug and allow it to steep in the fridge overnight. This is a really tasty drink and one that offers many wonderful detoxing benefits.

Lemon and ginger detox water

350ml water at room temperature

juice of ½ a lemon

½ inch knob of fresh ginger.

Just add your lemon juice to the water and then grate the ginger into it using a zester or cheese grater.

Day spa mango and ginger water

1″ knob of fresh ginger

1 cup of fresh or frozen mango, cubed

3 cups of ice

Fiji artesian water

Peel the ginger and cut it into three or four slices.

Drop into a jug, add your cup of mango and then top with ice before filling with water.

Watermelon and ginger detox water

2 cups of chunked watermelon

4 cups of water

1 tablespoon fresh ginger juice

Place the watermelon and squeezed ginger juice in a large jug and cover with water.

Allow it to steep in the fridge for a couple of hours before enjoying so that the flavour can infuse your water.
