ON January 18 I emailed the Nadi Municipal Council to re-construct a small Iris-crossing that was vanadalised and broken by drunkards between the school and the grounds at Waqadra.
Our community, pedestrians and schoolchildren were forced to concede taking other routes.
Construction began almost immediately thereafter and continued with much better one this time.
I would like to take this opportunity to recognise and thank the workers who constructed the bridge and Nadi’s municipality. Thanks to each of them and their dedicated service.
