THE Fiji women’s triples team lost to Australia during the Asia Pacific Bowls Championship semi-finals in Christchurch, New Zealand.
The side made up of Sheryl Mar, Elisabeth Mocewai and Litia Tikoisuva went down 21-12.
Fiji finished second section one recording five wins and a loss.
In the eliminations, Fiji edged Hong Kong China 13-12.
Last week, the Fiji men’s triples team of Waisea Senibici, David Aitcheson and Arun Kumar lost to New Zealand 20-16 in the semi-finals.
Both the men’s and women’s triples team have secured a spot at the 2016 World Championships which will also be played in Christchurch.
Roofing and Profiles Fiji Ltd and Goodman Fielder sponsored the national side.
