Kurulo says delegates from Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu Australia and New
Zealand have confirmed their participation.
“This is the first time, that we the women of CMFI Fiji are
hosting the women’s conference. Since we held our first conference in Australia
in 2009, we wanted to do something different,” Mrs Kurulo said.
“Many of the women in our
divisions, have not had an opportunity to stay overnight in a hotel, so we
wanted this experience to be special for them and this is why we have booked
out the Novotel Hotel.
“We believe in transforming lives through the power of the
gospel of Jesus Christ and the conference is an opportunity to continue to
share the transformative message of the Bible so the women will continue to go
forth and do mighty things.”
Participants also include women from the 12
CMFI divisions around Fiji – the Lau Group, Lomaiviti and Taveuni and
the conference.
