A double header in the Digicel Fiji Premier League (DPL) will be staged at the Prince Charles Park in Nadi this Sunday.

At 1pm, the Lautoka football side would face Labasa while at 3pm the Nadi team face Nadroga.

The Blues following their eight-nil romping of Nadroga last week would be looking to claim the top spot in the DPL points table, if they win against Labasa and given Rewa draws or loses to Suva at Ratu Cakobau Park also on Sunday.

Three teams – Suva, Labasa and Nadi are locked on 18 points, however, the Capital City Boys are ahead on a better goal differential after 10 games.

At the Uprising Sports Centre in Pacific Harbour on Sunday, at 3pm Navua takes on Ba while in a double header clash at Ratu Cakobau Park, Tailevu Naitasiri takes on Tavua FC at 1pm with Rewa clashing against Suva at 3pm. Nadi Football assistant coach Gurdeep Singh said the team are holding regular training sessions since Tuesday.

“We are preparing well to face Nadroga and we are hoping for a good outcome on Sunday.”
