500 to attend event

WITH an enormous response from more than 500 delegates attending again this year building on successes from last year, the Westpac Banking Corporation and Vodafone 2016 Chartered Practising Accountants (CPA) Australia-Fiji branch CPA Congress is now regarded as a major premier business conference in Fiji.

For the first time, CPA has introduced the CPA events app — all event information in your hand.

This can be downloaded via the Apple or Google

Play.

And this is the second year CPA will hold a certification ceremony to mark those advancing to CPA status together with other achievements.

CPA Australia-Fiji president Shaneel Nandan said this was another milestone for CPA and its members.

“The 2016 CPA Congress connects you to the most recognised leaders, policymakers and innovators,” Mr Nandan said.

“Their knowledge, strategic insights and innovative thinking will provide invaluable intelligence as we navigate a changing and unchartered business and economic environment.

“Delegates will have the opportunity to hear from speakers on issues that affect our daily lives, for instance, enticing productivity from your people, improving our own personal performance, experiences on credit card fraud cases, tax base erosion and ideal infrastructure for health care to name a few.”

Gold sponsors include Vodafone and Westpac and the CPA branch whole heartedly acknowledged the two corporates for their continuous support over the past years and their commitment for next three years.

Silver sponsors are Fiji Airways and Asco Motors.
