$2m water profit | Water bottler posts six months results

PUBLICLY-LISTED producer and bottler of VaiWai Natural Artesian water and AquaSafe – Pleass Global Limited – has recorded a profit before tax of $2,590,069 for the six months ended June 30 this year.

That represents a 17 per cent increase over the $2,208,333 recorded for the corresponding period in 2025.

Revenue also increased by 19 per cent to $16,087,964, which the company said reflected continued growth across the business and the strength of the company’s brands and operations.

Company chairman and joint chief executive officer Warwick Pleass said the company’s financial position continued to strengthen, with net assets increasing to $40.5 million as at June 30, 2026, compared with $33.1m recorded at the same time last year.

He said the company board had also approved an interim dividend of 10 cents a share, up from eight cents per share in the first half of 2025.

“These results reflect the continued dedication of our people, the strength of our brands, and the confidence our customers and stakeholders continue to place in Pleass Global,” Mr Pleass said in the company’s stock market announcement.

“Achieving strong revenue and profit growth, together with declaring an interim dividend of 10 cents per share, demonstrates the strength of our long-term strategy and our commitment to creating sustainable value for shareholders.

“We thank our employees, customers, suppliers and shareholders for their ongoing support.

“Based on our current performance and outlook, we remain confident in the company’s continued growth and future prospects.”
